I offer a very generous guarantee on my Cavaliers because I want to only produce the very best that I can. I want you to know how strongly I believe in my dog's health and soundness. Below you will see my guarantee when purchasing one of Gemstone's own Cavaliers.

Pet Quality--Cavalier purchased with a spay/neuter contract.
I believe that your pet should exceed 5 years of a healthy active lifestyle, therefore, if it dies prior to 5 years of age and your veterinarian determines through an autopsy that the death was a result of a genetic, inherited defect your dog will be replaced with another pet quality Cavalier.
You must have the detailed vet paperwork so that Gemstone Cavaliers can further determine if the parents of the dog in question should immediatelty be spayed and neutered to prevent future heartache. Note: umbilical hernias are not covered under this guarantee. They do occasionally occur as a result of the mother pulling the cord too firmly and are not dangerous to your pet.
Show or breeding quality. Full AKC registration
First--show and or breeding quality states that this dog after being examined by a licensed veterinarian is found to be completely sound with no physical disqualifications including, bite, gait, testicals, etc. and I firmly believe that after careful examination he or she will adhere to the breed standard in areas including: color, size, marking, etc. This guarantee does not include any projection for placement in show events, or that a puppy will actually be able to reproduce two years or longer down the line. Only proven adult dogs can come with these type of promises.
What this guarantee does include is the following genetic defects for three years: heart murmurs, hips, patellas, eyes. Also your puppy will be hernia free upon purchase. Should your dog develop one of these genetic conditions (you must have one veternarian's diagnoses and atleast one specialist diagnoses) prior to three years of age, it will be your choice to return the dog for a replacement dog from a breeding from a different genetic line; or a 50 percent reimbursement of the purchase price of the animal after returning the animal to Gemstone for further analysis.
